Our Facility

Strip Technologies is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Convenient to Interstates 40 and 75, and close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we serve customers throughout East Tennessee and surrounding states.

Our modern facility was purpose-built in 2008 to provide the most efficient and environmentally responsible media blasting services in the region. Because we work inside a climate-controlled building, blasting doesn’t have to wait for good weather. And our customers’ projects remain safe and dry inside.

Media blasting requires large amounts of dry compressed air. Our industrial compressors and refrigerated air dryer deliver over 350 cubic feet per minute of cool, dry air to multiple blasting rooms and cabinets.

Blasting also generates a lot of dust! Our well-lit blasting rooms and cabinets confine and collect dust using pleated-cartridge dust collectors. Dust is disposed of properly, and our facilities remain clean and safe.

We also collect and reclaim all of the media we use. Compared to single-use abrasives and methods, our process generates dramatically less waste and mess.

In addition to our blasting rooms, we also house an automotive paint room in our building, where we apply primer and paint to freshly blasted projects. Equipped with proper air filtration and fire suppression systems, our paint room nicely complements our stripping operations.
